No Bangladeshi player has been shortlisted by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for Cricketer of the Decade.
The ICC, the governing body of cricket, will select the best cricketers of the decade in various categories from the full and allied member countries. The ICC has released a shortlist of male and female cricketers. But there is no Bangladeshi cricketer in that list. But there is a cricketer from Afghanistan on the list.
Between 2010 and 2020, there are four Indian cricketers on the list of the best in a decade. India’s Virat Kohli, one of the best cricketers of the time, has been nominated in a total of four categories. He has been nominated in the best Test, ODI and T20 cricketers of the decade as well as in the best cricketer of the decade category.
England are the current world champions in ODIs. But there is no English player also in the ODI’s nomination.
