Bangladesh football team has reached Qatar to play the World Cup qualifier match. Team led by Jamal Bhuiyan left for Qatar at 10.30 am and reached at 1.45 pm. The footballers and the officials accompanying the team took the corona test at the airport. Everyone got negative results in the Corona test.
Earlier, Manjurul Rahman tested positive for Corona before flying to Qatar. He could not go with the team. Assistant coach Stuart Watkis will lead the team in the absence of the main coach Jamie Day who found corona positive also. The footballers will have to stay in quarantine for 3 days after reaching Doha.
Bangladesh football team will play the World Cup qualifier against Asian champions Qatar on December 4. He has two previous warm-up matches against the Qatari club.
