A fire at a Corona hospital in Romania has killed 10 patients with covid. 7 more people with severe burns.
The fire broke out on Saturday from the intensive care ward of the hospital in the town of Piatra Nimt. There were a total of 18 patients on ventilation.
The fire is believed to have started from an electrical short circuit, the country’s health minister said.
Local media reported that the hospital has been mismanaged for a long time.
Meanwhile, the director of the hospital was forced to resign 3 weeks ago due to not being able to provide proper medical services.
