Bangabandhu T20 Cup is going back one week

The Bangabandhu T20 Cup cricket tournament is one week behind. The decision was made to make the organization of this 5-team tournament a little brighter.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is going to organize this tournament as the second step in organizing national and international cricket in full swing. Earlier, the board had successfully completed the BCB President’s Cup recently.

BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon said the tournament would start on November 15. But then there was the need for some more time to gather international broadcasters and 5 team sponsors.

The decision to go international broadcasting has attracted the support of 5 parties and the board is getting a good response. Apart from this, extra time is also needed to build the best biosafety zone with the participation of a lot of people in the tournament. That is why the organizers have postponed the date of the tournament.

BCB chief executive officer Nizam Uddin Chowdhury said today, “We are not saying that the tournament is going backward. Our plan was to start the tournament on or before November 20. In fact, our plan was to start the tournament on November 21, 22, or 23. There are some processes to manage everything properly. We have to move forward considering everything. ‘
