New York Bangla Book Fair dedicated to Bangabandhu has come to an end

The first 10-day Bangla Virtual Book Fair in New York dedicated to Bangabandhu has come to an end with the participation of poets, writers, literary figures and artists from 30 countries of the world and the determination to spread Bangabandhu’s consciousness among the new generation growing up abroad.

As a result of Covid 19, when the whole world is disoriented, people’s daily life is disrupted. Then Muktadhara Foundation organized this fair on the occasion of the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the virtual nation. The book fair is held from 18 to 26 September.

A press release of Muktadhara Foundation received in Dhaka today said that the celebration of the centenary of the birth of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Chairman of the National Implementation Committee Prof. Rafiqul Islam, journalist Abdur Gaffar Chowdhury, veteran politician Tofail Ahmed, founder of Biswasahitya Kendra Prof. Abdullah Abu Sayeed, poet Nirmalend gun. Literary Selina Hossain, Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni MP, Foreign Minister. Abdul Momen MP, State Minister for Culture KM Khalid MP, Poet Kamal Chowdhury, Trustee of Liberation War Museum Mofidul Haque, Imdadul Haque Milon, Journalist Zafar Wazed and Literary Journalist Anisul Haque among others participated in the 10 days of the book fair.
