The Gaofen-13 satellite was launched into orbit on a Long March-3B rocket.
This satellite will work for economic development by providing information services. The satellite will be used mainly for land surveying, crop production, environmental protection, weather forecasting, early warning and disaster prevention and mitigation.
This was the 349th launch of the Long March rocket series.
