Donald Trump says ‘no’ to virtual debate

POTUS Donald Trump, who is still under treatment for COVID-19, announced on Thursday that he will decline to take part in the presidential debate to held next week after it was shifted into the virtual format.

“I’m not going to do a virtual debate,” POTUS Trump said to media, saying this was “not acceptable to us.”

He challenged the bipartisan debate commission of attempting to “protect” Trump’s opponent Joe Biden.

Earlier the Presidential Debates Commission stated it was making the switch to a virtual set up so as to “protect the health and safety of all involved.” t announced the debate would have a town hall forum with the applicants in remote areas.

last week Trump was tested positive for COVID 19 and also spent three days in the hospital before returning to the White House last Monday evening.

Even though Trump was still contagious he dramatically removed his face mask upon arriving at White House and posed for photographers.
