Vietnam resumes regular international flights

Regular international flights have resumed in Vietnam since Saturday morning. It was reopened after being closed for five months due to the Corona epidemic.

The first flight of Vietnam Airlines has left the capital Hanoi for the Japanese capital Tokyo. The plane had 60 passengers on board. Most of them are Vietnamese students and workers. There were also Japanese nationals on the plane. This was reported by the Vietnam News Agency.

Vietnam had closed all international flights at the end of March.

So far, 1,068 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the country. No infections have been reported at the local level for more than two weeks, according to the country’s health ministry.
