Salesforce to create 12,000 jobs over the next year

Salesforce will add 12,000 jobs by 2021, including 4,000 positions in the coming six months, CEO Marc Benioff said in a tweet today.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak that has forced people to stay and work from home, the company’s online business software that supports remote work and e-commerce has seen significant demand.

Salesforce.com Inc recently joined the Dow Jones Industrial Average index and at present the company employs around 54,000 staffs worldwide.

The company did not immediately respond to a request for additional details on the hiring.
