Modi’s Twitter account hacked and asked for relief

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s personal Twitter account has been hacked. Local time on Thursday (September 3) morning after the hack, the hackers tweeted several times asking for help from his followers, Indian media NDTV reported.

Modi has been using the hacked account since May 2011, where he has 2.5 million followers. So far he has tweeted more than 36,000.

Modi’s Twitter hacked is being seriously investigated by the concerned authorities. The hacker’s tweets have already been removed.

NDTV also reported that the Prime Minister has been repeatedly requested to send financial assistance to the National Relief Fund after the hacking incident.

Modi’s account was hacked on September 3 after the Twitter accounts of several well-known people around the world were hacked on July 2020. People like US presidential candidate Joe Biden and tech billionaire Elon Musk have also been hacked.
