The Art of Our Lives – Emerging Artists Exhibition 2020 to showcase the “new normal”

RoyJatra-through the art is going to organize an art exhibition titled “The Art of Our Lives – Emerging Artists Exhibition 2020” to showcase the “New Normal” in this COVID-19 pandemic and post COVID period through the eye of artists.

“The Art of Our Lives – Emerging Artists Exhibition 2020” seeks to give a platform for youthful artists to showcase their efforts to the world. The Exhibition will be held on 20 – 27 August, where talented young artists will showcase the art of their lives.

From breathing the fresh air of mother nature at the beginning of this year to the global pandemic and readjusting our lives to the “new normal”. Now, us the humans have gone through drastic changes in our daily lives over the past few months. As the world struggles to adjust to the change in every way of life, young artists struggle to find inspiration in these unusual times. This exhibition is meant to inspire them in this stressful time.

Five renowned and Eminent artists of Bangladesh, including Shamorjit Roy Chowdhury, Nasir Ali Mamun, Mostafizul Haque, Nasim Ahmed Nadvi, and Dewan Mizan Rahman will grace the exhibition as jury members.

Youth artists are requested to submit five artworks of their own. Two will be selected by the jury.
Along with the artworks, participants need to provide a short text about these artworks and also brief information (250 words) about the artist. Also, a good quality front profile photo of the artist is needed to be attached to the mail and submit it to [email protected] by 16th August 2020.

Mridha Shihab Mahmud is a writer, content editor and photojournalist. He works as a staff reporter at News Hour.
