Abnormally high blood sugar may increase the risk of dying from coronary

Patients with Covid-19 who have abnormally high blood sugar has the possibility to die more than twice. Researchers in China said on Saturday.

For the first time, scientists have confirmed that patients with hyperglycemia who have not been diagnosed with diabetes are at the highest risk of death from Covid-19. The report is published in the Journal of Diabetes.

This information was obtained by examining 605 COVID-19 patients in two hospitals in Wuhan.

In addition to the risk of dying from high blood pressure, COVID-19 infection separately increases the risk of death, the report said.

This study is based on previous research conducted on diabetic patients.

A report published in the journal in May said that 1 in 10 people with covid-19 diabetes in French hospitals had died. This rate is comparatively much higher than in other patients.
