Second trial of Chinese corona vaccine may held in Bangladesh

Different countries are conducting research on coronavirus or Covid-19. Several countries, including the United States and China, have already begun trials for the vaccine. The Chinese vaccine has completed the first trial. The second trial of their vaccine may be organized in Bangladesh.

Director-General of the Department of Health, Prof. Abul Kalam Azad stated this on Friday (June 26). He gave this information to a virtual conference.

Dr. Abul Kalam Azad told in the conference, “The second phase of the coronavirus vaccine developed in China could be trailed in Bangladesh. Based on this trial, its production may also start in Bangladesh. It will be another step towards success for the people of Bangladesh.”

Azad said about the corona situation, “Earlier, the virus could have spread from one infected person to two more people in the country. But now that reproduction rate or R-rate has come down to 1.05. This is a very good sign. If you can take it down now, the anxiety will be reduced a lot. Moreover, the number of infections that are being found every day is still very stable.
