CHTDB donated oxygen cylinders to the three hill districts hospitals

As promised earlier by the Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board, they have donated 45 oxygen cylinders for government hospitals in the three hill districts.

Earlier, the three districts were supposed to get a total of 48 cylinders, but last Monday (22 June), the CHT Development Board provided a total of 45 cylinders, 15 to each of the three district headquarters hospitals. Along with them, Rangamati Police Hospital was also provided 2 oxygen cylinders.

These oxygen cylinders were distributed by Naba Bikram Kishore Tripura, Chairman, Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board.

People across the country have become helpless due to Corona. Due to which they have severe problems including breathing problems. Many died at the hospital due to a lack of oxygen supply at the right time. Outbreaks appear to be increased in Hilli areas as well as in-plane lands. There are a shortage of oxygen cylinders in the hospitals here as well. General hospitals have 2-3 cylinders of oxygen, which is insufficient.

To address the Corona problem in the three hill districts, the Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board (CHTDB) decided to donate oxygen cylinders to district hospitals. On 17 June, CHTDB chairmen Naba Bikram Kishore Tripura announced to donate oxygen cylinders to 3 Hill districts.
