America is overwhelmed with anger over the tragic death of George Floyd

Racism has erupted in America. Corona’s fear has been suppressed by the uprising. Protests erupted over the weekend in the tidal wave of crowds. The tragic death of George Floyd has shocked the whole of America. Protests have spread everywhere. America today is in a different reality with the horrible memory of the deaths of more than one lakh people in the scourge of coronavirus.

Even in the midst of the lockdown, people have taken to the streets in New York for three days in a row. Some came wearing masks, some came with handwritten posters, festoons. Big cities chanted slogans and songs against police brutality. Outraged people have been involved in violence with the police from time to time.

On the night of May 30, thousands of people set fire to cars in Brooklyn, Police and protesters got injured, There have been hundreds of arrests. The New York Police Department (NYPD) released a bloody picture on Saturday night. City Mayor Bill de Blasio called on protesters to remain calm. Curfews were imposed in several US cities on Saturday night to quell protests and violence.

The movement began in the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota, in protest of the death of a black man named George Floyd, 48, who was tortured by police.

Protesters demands, The police cannot treat anyone so ruthlessly. At the same time, such oppression of blacks living in America must be stopped.
