Shakib is the only all-rounder in the Ian Bishop’s best ODI XI of last decade

Former West Indies fast bowler and popular commentator Ian Bishop has been named the best ODI XI of his choice in the last decade. Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan is the only all-rounder in that XI.

Former India World Cup-winning leader Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the captain of the Bishop’s XI.

Three from India, two from Australia-South Africa, one from Bangladesh-New Zealand-Sri Lanka and Afghanistan have been named in the best Bishop’s ODI XI.

No World Cup winner English cricketer has been named. Not even a Pakistan-West Indies cricketer has a place in the Bishop’s XI.

India’s Rohit Sharma and Australia’s David Warner will be the openers in the Bishop’s XI. India’s Virat Kohli is at number three. Then in the middle order are South Africa’s AB de Villiers and New Zealand’s Ross Taylor.

Shakib is at number six. Dhoni, the captain and wicketkeeper of this XI, is staying at seven. The bowlers are Mitchell Starc of Australia, Dale Steyn of South Africa, Lasith Malinga of Sri Lanka and Rashid Khan of Afghanistan.
