ICC is preparing to host the T20 World Cup on schedule

The International Cricket Council (ICC), the governing body of cricket, is preparing to host the T20 World Cup on schedule. This has been said in a statement given by the organization.

A statement from the ICC said, “The news that the ICC T20 World Cup schedule has been changed is completely baseless and rumored. We are preparing to host the World Cup in time.”

Coronavirus has caused rumors that the T20 World Cup will be canceled in Australia in October-November. The ICC denied the rumors and said the T20 World Cup would be held under all possible protections.

Icc stated All preparations are being made keeping in view the situation created due to the COVID-19 virus and considering safety. We are planning to ensure the health of all the players and officials.

Assuring everyone, the ICC further said, ‘The current situation is always being monitored. We’ll see what happens in the future. However, there are no plans to cancel the World Cup right now. We are fully prepared to host the World Cup. That is the goal we are moving forward with.

The ICC has organized the board meeting through video conference. It will be attended by the presidents of all the countries that are full members of the ICC.
