In India, locusts attack in the midst of corona pandemic- cyclone amphan

Between the global epidemic of coronavirus and cyclone Amphan locust has hit India. Locust swarms usually invade various districts in the western part of Rajasthan in India. But this time the crop destroyer has reached Jaipur city.

On Monday, locusts swarmed the residential areas of the Jaipur city. This creates an unusual scene between people. At present, these crop-destroying insects have come to Dausa district. Officials said they are moving further. They are damaging the plants as there is no crop to distroy.

People in Marulipura and Vidyadharnagar areas of Jaipur are trying to chase away locusts by making noise. State Agriculture Commissioner Om Prakash said the menace had spread to 16 districts in Rajasthan. They are moving fast in search of food.

Once again in 2019, a group of locusts invaded India. That time the farmers also lost a lot of money. It is known that this time the team is three times bigger than last time. So the risk of loss is high.
