President Donald Trump threatened on Monday, If no significant progress is made within the next 30 days, the United States will permanently cut off funding to the World Health Organization (WHO).
“They’re a puppet of China, they’re China-centric to put it nicer,” Trump stated at the White House.
In mid-April, Washington suspended funding temporally to the World Health Organization (WHO) over allegations of mismanagement in the Corona deal and closeness to China in covering up the incident.
Trump said, ‘If the World Health Organization does not show any effective progress in the next 30 days If the World Health Organization does not show any effective progress in the next 30 days,‘If the World Health Organization does not show any effective progress in the next 30 days, The agency will then be permanently banned from the temporarily status from providing US funding and will consider whether we will remain a member.
Trump said China only pays about $40 million a year and one idea was for Washington to bring “our 450 down to 40,” but “some people thought that was too much.”
