13 Bangladeshi non-government organizations got permission for corona test

The Department of Health of Bangladesh has given permission to 13 non-government organizations (hospitals and diagnostic centers) to test Covid-19.

Among these 13 organizations, 11 are located in the capital city Dhaka and 1 each in Bogra and Chittagong city.

The assigned non-government organizations are: Square Hospital, Ever Care Hospital (formerly known as Apollo Hospital), Ibn Sina Medical College Hospital, Lab Aid Hospital, Anwar Khan Modern Medical College Hospital, Purnava Health Bangladesh Limited, United Hospital, Biomed Diagnostic, DMFR Molecular Lab and Diagnostic, Bangladesh Institute of Health Sciences General Hospital and Care Medical College and Enam Medical College Hospital in Savar.

The two institutions outside the capital Dhaka are Bogra’s TMSS Medical College and Rafatullah Community Hospital and Chevron Clinical Laboratory (PTE) Ltd. in Chittagong.

Presently, Covid-19 is being tested in 42 institutions all around Bangladesh according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) data. People can give samples by contacting the lab authorities directly and also by staying in their area for coronavirus tests.

Considering the current situation, DGHS has directed to carry out continuously Coronavirus detection tests in all labs on any weekly holiday including Eid holiday.
