Iran is sending oil to Venezuela under the protection of its own missile power

Iran is exporting thousands of tons of gasoline to Venezuela by ignoring US sanctions.The country is protecting the entire oil export activities through its own defense system.

Iran’s state news agency IRNA reported that at least five tankers were carrying Iranian oil to Venezuela. The tankers will cross the Atlantic Ocean and reach Venezuela through there is a US sanction against it.

The United States has deployed USS Detroit, USS Lassen, USS Prebel and USS Faragat in the Caribbean to intercept the Iranian ship, the news agency said, citing unnamed sources.

The US government has illegally imposed unilateral sanctions against Iran and Venezuela. Last week, a Trump administration official said the United States was considering taking action on Iran’s oil exports to Venezuela.

Iran, meanwhile, has warned the United States of dire consequences if it intercepts an oil tanker sent to Venezuela. The warning was issued on Saturday by the country’s royal revolutionary force, the IRGC.
