North South University handed over relief materials for the needy to Bangladesh Police

North South University (NSU), first and one of the top private universities of Bangladesh, has come forward to help helpless and distressed people who have become unemployed in the Corona crisis. Food items have been provided by the university as a relief to the needy people through Bangladesh Police.

Vice-Chancellor of NSU, Prof. Atiqul Islam has handed over the relief items the relief item to the Inspector General of Bangladesh Police (IGP) Dr. Benazir Ahmed at Police Headquarters on last Thursday (May 7) afternoon.

The IGP appreciated the good initiative and thanked the NSU authorities for thinking about the poor. He hoped that helpless people may overcome the situation if the rich people of the country and various organizations came forward with the mentality of help.

Mr. Jamil Ahmed, Director of Public Relations, North South University was present on the occasion.

Notably, NSU is working to help tackle the corona situation in a variety of ways, including distributing food items to the poor and providing donations to government funds from the salaries of teachers and staff.
