Over 55 government agencies, public and private organizations, and educational institutions on Sunday provided contributions as a donation to the Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund to help the poor citizens of Bangladesh who were affected by COVID-19 fallout.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina accepted the donations through a video conference from her own official residence Ganobhaban on Sunday morning.
Delegates of the organizations handed over cheques of contributions to PM’s Principal Secretary Dr Ahmad Kaikaus at the PM’s Office.
Along with 55 local organizations and 1 individual, the Communist Party of China provided 50,000 surgical masks for the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
These donations are going to be used for the people suffering because of COVID-19 Pandemic.
