Former Pakistan speedster bowler Shoaib Akhtar stated that he is ready to coach fast bowlers from any country, even if an offer came from arch-rivals India.
While giving an interview to a social networking platform, the 44-year-old paceman who was known as the Rawalpindi Express announced he wants to help create aggressive and fast bowlers who can take on opposition batsmen doesn’t matter which country they represent.
When the host for the program asked about India, Akhtar replied: “I will definitely… My job is to spread knowledge. What I have learned is knowledge and I will spread it”. Akhtar also said he would also like to coach bowlers in the Indian Premier League.
Akhtar also stated: “I will produce more aggressive, fast, and more talkative bowlers than the current ones, who will tell-off the batsmen in a way that you will enjoy a lot.”
The response stunned many in India because of the poor relations between the neighbors. Bothe political and sports relations. The two countries have not played with each other in a bilateral series since 2012.
