Cristiano Ronaldo returns to Turin after coronavirus lockdown

Juventus superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo flew back to Italy after almost two months of coronavirus lockdown in his native country Portugal.

Ronaldo landed in Turin Airport with his family on Monday just after 10.20 pm local time, according to media reports in Italy.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner player arrived in Italy by private jet from the Portuguese island of Madeira and now he will spend 14 days in quarantine in Turin.

Ronaldo returned to Madeira form Italy after the Inter Milan match to be close to his mother Dolores who had suffered a stroke.

Italian club Juventus have recalled their 10 overseas players as Serie A clubs were given the green light to return to individual training on Monday.
