All flight operation will remain suspended till May 16

The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (Caab) extended the suspension of all kinds of international and domestic flights till May 16, intending to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), said a Caab press release on Tuesday.

Bahrain, Bhutan, Hong Kong, India, Kuwait, Malaysia, the Maldives, Nepal, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the United Kingdom (UK) will come under the restriction, the release added.

But special flights, air ambulance, emergency landing flights and cargo flights will remain out of the purview of the restriction, it said.
