Boris Johnson to return to work as UK virus deaths pass 20,000

England’s PM Boris Johnson will come back to work toward the beginning of this current week, as indicated by reports Sunday only hours after it was declared that the UK’s coronavirus loss of life had passed the “tragic” milestone of 20,000.

The Press Association said Johnson would be back in his Downing Street office on Monday after himself recouping from the coronavirus.

A Number 10 source cited by Sky News said the 55-year-old was “raring to go”. Johnson has been recovering at the British prime ministerial retreat, Chequers, outside London since his discharge from the health facilities on April 12

Johnson went through three days in intensive care and later conceded “things could have gone in any way”, after getting the infection.

ministerial retreat return to work comes as pressure increases on his government on a few fronts over its handling of the crisis.
