BCB refutes allegation on former national opener Javed Omar

The most higher authority of cricket in Bangladesh, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) trashed the accusation against former national opener Javed Omar Belim Golla, terming it baseless and irrational.

Reports recommended that Javed Omer, who was serving as the manager of the Bangladesh women’s team during the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup had transferred the team information to outside, for which International Cricket Council (ICC) instructed BCB to keep him away from the action.

But only a day after the charge against Javed Omar, the BCB reacted sharply, saying that they didn’t get any such instruction from ICC.

“All I can say that we didn’t get any such sort of instruction from the ICC,” BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury told the BSS today.

Javed, a solid opening batsman and well known for his patience and sound technique was disappointed to see such kind of news. He, however, decided not to make comment on the matter.
