Le Méridien Dhaka hosts Gala Dinner of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Bangladesh

In partnership with Prime Bank, Le Méridien Dhaka has hosted the 2nd Gala Dinner of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Bangladesh recently at its restaurant, Favola. Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Bangladesh is the new addition of the worldwide family of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

With nearly 25,000 members, the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is an International Association of Gastronomy now established in over 80 countries bringing together enthusiasts who share the same values of quality, fine dining, the encouragement of the culinary arts and the pleasures of the table. The distinctive character of the association is to bring together amateurs and professionals, from all over the world, whether they are hoteliers, restaurateurs, executive chefs or sommeliers, in the appreciation of fine cuisine.

The Gala Dinner was served with an array of gastronomical delicacies. For the starters, the experienced chefs of Le Méridien Dhaka served the guests with a collection Canapé consisting of Mini Lobster Pakora, Smoked Salmon and Blinis Mille-Feuille, Beef Tartare with Quail Eggs and Saffron Aioli, and Mini Choux Bun with Pickled Beetroot and Goat’s Cheese Crème Chantilly.

Then the chefs presented the guests with ambrosial entrées including Carpaccio of Duck Prosciutto served with Baby Leaves, Burnt Orange, Pecan Praline, Maple, Saffron, and Balsamic; Home Smoked Lobster Tail with Chive Beurre Blanc, Soya Beans, and Crisp Parmesan Tullie; and Roasted Australian Beef Tenderloin with Poached Marrow, Braised Mushrooms, Potato Gratin, and Bordelaise Jus. Finally, the guests were served with a delectable array of French desserts of Omelet Norvégienne Glazed with Fruit Salsa and Bonbons.

The Gala Dinner was attended by the members of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Bangladesh for BDT 15,500 and non-member for BDT 17,500.
