Nissan Versa awarded by FIPA as ‘Best Car of the Year’

The all-new 2020 Nissan Versa was awarded “Best Car of the Year” by the Inter-American Federation of Automobile Journalists (FIPA) in Latin America.

FIPA includes specialized journalists from the auto industry in 21 countries in the Americas and the Caribbean. Its members praised Versa for its technological equipment, safety systems and an innovative design.

“We are very excited to receive this recognition from FIPA for Nissan Versa 2020, a fantastic vehicle and unprecedented in its segment,” said José Román, president and managing director, Nissan Mexico. “We continue to demonstrate Nissan’s ability to offer high value-added vehicles and content. ”

With a completely renewed, more expressive design and unique technologies in its segment, the new generation of Nissan Versa is available in 19 markets in Latin America: Aruba, Bahamas, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Curacao, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala , Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Saint Martin and Uruguay.
