JCI Dhaka United organized the 2019 General Assembly (GA) on the 28th of September 2019 at the Army Golf Club where the Executive Committee of 2020 was declared.
Local president for 2019 Khadiza Akter, along with Immediate Past Local President Jamil Uddin Bhuiyan, National Governing Board of JCI Bangladesh and Members of JCI Dhaka United conducted the General Assembly. Tasneem Huq, Ishrat Sultana, and Md Ashikur Rahman were elected as 2020 Local President, Local Executive Vice President, and Local Vice President respectively. 2019 Local President Khadiza Akter handed over the responsibilities to Tasneem Huq, the president-elect of 2020.
Also JCI Dhaka United selected A S M Taimur as General Legal Council, Shahnaowaz Kabbir Arpon as Secretary-General and, Ashraf Ahmad as Local Treasure for the executive committee of the year 2020.
The existing executive committee- the board of Local President Khadiza Akter will continue till December 31, 2019. The new Executive Committee of 2020- the board of Local President Tasneem Huq will inaugurate the journey from the 1st of January 2020.
With the concern of all members, Local President Khadiza Akter has discussed and presented the year long projects, financial report of 2019 to the National Governing body of JCI Bangladesh.
2019 Immediate Past National President Fayaz Atiqul Islam, 2019 National Vice President Salehin F. Nahiyan and, 2019 National Treasurer of JCI Bangladesh Sakib Ahmed delivered their valuable keynote address. The formal part of the assembly ended with a vote of thanks given by the Local President of 2019 Khadiza Akter.
