Novoair to increase flights on Dhaka-Saidpur route

Novoair, one of the private airlines in Bangladesh has decided to increase flights on Dhaka-Saidpur route considering passengers uptrend to this destination.

The airlines will operate daily five flights on Dhaka-Saidpur-Dhaka route from August 1 instead of current four daily flights, a release said today, reports BSS.

The new flight will fly from Dhaka at 1 pm and fly back from Saidpur at 2:30 pm, it added.

Currently, Novoair operates daily 5 flights to Chattogram, 5 flights to Cox’s Bazar, 5 flights to Jashore, 2 flights to Sylhet,1 flight to Barishal, Rajshahi and Kolkata.

NOVOAIR was established in October 2007 as an aviation service provider as the business diversification of parent company “Tusuka Group” with directors Arshad Jamal, Faiz Khan, Mofizur Rahman and Fayzur Rahman Badal. The Process of establishing a scheduled airline began at late 2011.

NOVOAIR launched commercial operation on 9 Jan 2013 with Embraer 145 jet aircraft. Later the Embraer fleet was replaced with ATR 72-500 turboprop aircraft. The airline currently operates to all domestic destination of the country with lone International destination to Kolkata.

NOVOAIR launched international flights on 1 December 2015. The airline is consolidating its domestic network and eyeing for expansion in international sectors.
