Save the Children announced as headline charity partner for Muslim Shopping Festival

Save the Children are delighted to announce we will be the headline partner for the Muslim Shopping Festival 2019.

Save the Children is  doing whatever it takes to make sure children don’t just survive but thrive. Because every child should be able to make their mark on their world and help build a better future, in the UK and around the world.

They really look forward to welcoming all to this fantastic event, where people can take the opportunity to experience there humanitarian work first hand in our virtual reality space.

Save the Children will also be spotlighting there Ramadan appeal at the event, with a whole host of fantastic fundraising ideas to get involved this holy month and help Save the Children to give children in Yemen hope of a better future.

Right now, Yemen’s children are on the frontline of the world’s worst humanitarian crisis. They face a deadly threat of bombs, hunger and disease. We are working tirelessly on the ground – as well as lobbying governments and politicians – doing whatever it takes to help save lives and protect futures.

Save the Children is also celebrating 100 years this year! In 1919, Save the Children founder, Eglantyne Jebb, said that, “every generation of children offers mankind the possibility of rebuilding his ruin of a world.” And ever since then, we’ve fought day in, day out, to give children the chance to make their mark.

Save the Children has been there when they’ve needed us most: in famine, in conflict, and in crisis. They have given millions the power to shape their own future.

Our incredible supporters have helped us change the lives of millions of children and kept on inspiring us to reach for ever greater heights. We look forward to sharing some birthday cake with you in April.
