Debi to be available in Bioscope

The most discussed Bangladeshi mystery and thriller film of last year, Debi, will be available in the online streaming platform of Bioscope. The film was based on a famous novel “Debi” by Humayun Ahmed. Debi is a milestone in Bangladesh film industry as it got recognition from the audiences. Now it is available only in Bioscope.

It has been 100 days since the film got released and on the 100th day, Bioscope signed an agreement with the team of Debi. Bioscope is one of the most popular entertainment medians among all the digital services of Grameenphone. A lot of blockbuster films are available in Bioscope apart from live TV channels. The journey with the team of Debi is considered as a milestone by the administration of Bioscope.

‘Debi’ was released on October 2018 and since then, it has been one of the most talked films of the industry. This is the first time it is going to be released online on February 14, 2019. It is worth mentioning that “Debi” is the first film where Chanchal Chowdhury, Jaya Ahsan, and Sabnam Faria have worked together. Debi, which was based on Humayun Ahmed’s novel, was able to attract the attention of audiences long before the release of the film. The film Debi deserves a lot of praise even if it is the first film of the director Anam Biswas.

During the event, the actress Jaya Ahsan shared her experiences of her working in the film of Debi. Representatives from Bioscope’s and their partner Bongo were present there along with the team of Debi and production house ‘C te cinema’.
