Le Méridien Dhaka celebrated the International Coffee Day

Le Méridien Dhaka celebrated the International Coffee Day for the fourth year on October 1, 2018 at their signature lounge, Latitude 23 from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm. A number of socialites, celebrities, food bloggers, and foodies gathered to celebrate the event. This event was opened to everyone.

International Coffee Day is a global celebration of coffee’s journey from the farm to our local shop. It has been an opportunity to honor the women and men who grow and harvest the coffee we love. The day has also been used to promote the fair-trade coffee among the countries in the world. Coffee is an inspiring drink, it not only boosts our own creativity but also comes with a whole fascinating universe.

The hotel celebrated it by various art lesson activities like colored latte art tutorials guided by expert baristas of Cimbali and Illy, designing own eclairs with special toppings under the supervision of pastry chef. A small buffet along with cookie cup, coffee-based cocktails, and delicious delicacies have been served.

On this occasion, the General Manager of Le Méridien Dhaka, Constantinos S Gavriel, said “Like all our food festivals and cultural celebrations, this time, we are happy again to bring one of the most definitive International celebrations for Dhaka. We are delighted to see all the coffee lovers of Dhaka, celebrating the day with us.”

Le Méridien Dhaka has already become a popular place for urban Dhaka, especially youth. They always try to bring multi-cultural festivals and celebration to the city from time to time.
