Telenor Health aims health solutions for RMG workers in Bangladesh

Telenor Health, the digital health subsidiary of Telenor Group, has recently, introduced the program “Healthy Workers, Stronger Bangladesh” at Radisson Water Garden Hotel. This program will enable a platform for the industry leaders of the RMG sector to share the best health and wellness practice, hear new initiatives for health workers and help to build a stronger economy for Bangladesh.

A panel discussion was held during the event titled “Perception about healthcare initiative for workers and the future of it” attended by the newly appointed members of the advisory board for the project- Senior Vice President of BGMEA and MD of Giant Group Faruque Hassan; Executive Vice Chairperson of Asiatic 3sixty and renowned activist Sara Zaker and Consultant of Dept. of Gynae and Obstetrics at Square Hospital Dr. Nargis Fatema.

As a way forward to this program Telenor Health will now be working towards creating an impact in the lives of the RMG workers of Bangladesh who contribute in the top export industry of the country. The service includes over the phone doctor consultation, cash coverage on hospitalization and medical tests, discounts at healthcare partners, mental health counseling, initiative to promote personal hygiene, health camps, and free health checks.
