A mild earthquake shook Dhaka city in Bangladesh today. Measuring 5.6 on the Richter Scale, the tremor was felt around 10:50 AM. The epicenter of the quake was in Saptagram, Assam, India, 293 kilometers north off Dhaka. The earthquake had a depth of 10 kilometers.
Tremors were felt across West Bengal as well. There were no immediate reports of any damages.
