Tigers’ new batting consultant Neil McKenzie joined with the team at Guyana as the Bangladesh team prepare to take on host West Indies in the second ODI of the three-match ODI series, a BCB source confirmed to BSS today.
Bangladesh lead the series 1-0 after a 48-run victory in the first ODI, which was also their maiden win in this tour against the Caribbean after their frustrating Test series defeat.
Bangladesh has a good opportunity to seal the series when they take on West Indies in the second ODI midnight 12:30 am Bangladesh time. The former South African right handed opening batsman McKenzie played 58 Tests, 64 ODIs and two Twenty20s for South Africa.
Following his retirement from international cricket in 2009, McKenzie was also acted twice as batting consultant of South Africa.
