Sunny Leone is telling her story in the upcoming web series “Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story of Sunny Leone”.
Leone, a former porn star turned Bollywood actress, debuted the ZEE5 Original series trailer on her Twitter account. “I’m not playing a role, I’m being myself,” the Canadian-born actress, 37, captioned the clip.

The web series tells the untold story of Sunny’s life and portrays her financial struggles which led her to be adult film actor at young age. The series shows the tough journey of a adult film actor becoming a Bollywood actor. The difficult life choices she made in her life have been depicted in the series as well.
The trailer also provides a glimpse of 19-year-old young Sunny’s life when she was selected as men’s magazine Penthouse Pet for March 2001.
Rysa Saujani, 14, plays the younger version of Sunny Leone in the web series. “Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story of Sunny Leone” premieres on July 16.
