Colombia drub Poland 3-0 in World Cup

Colombia kept their hopes alive to qualify for the next round in a grand display as they defeated Poland by 3-0 goals in the FIFA World Cup 2018 in the Group H match held at the early hour of Monday at Kazan Arena in Russia.

James Rodriguez brilliant cross saw over lapping Colombian defender Yerry Mina made no mistake to nod home from close range (1-0).

Quintero’s superbly through saw, Falcao raced down to flick the ball past Polish goalkeeper Szczesny to give Colombia a 2-0 lead.

James Rodriguez’s final magic of the evening saw him send another extraordinary pass which Cuadrado did not make any mistake as he slip the ball past the Polish GK Szczesny to make it 3-0.

After today’s outing Colombia’s point collection rose to three from two matches while hapless Poland were yet to open their account from two outings.

Colombia will play their last group match against Senegal while Japan will play their group match against Poland on June 28.

Earlier in their previous fixture, Japan beat Colombia by 1-0 while Poland was beaten by a solitary goal at the hand of Senegal, both in their respective group opening matches.
