On 30th May, 2018, Save the Children-Corporate partnership for ECD project organized a workshop at Spectra Convention Center in Dhaka.
Ms. Mahmuda Sharmin Benu, honorable Additional Secretary of the ministry of women and child affairs, Mr. Nagib Syed, Country Manager of PVH, Zulfiqar Bushra, Director of the Educational function in Save the Children, Meherunnahar Shopna, and officers of several NGOs, Corporate offices and Readymade garment industries were present in the workshop.
In the workshop, a discussion was held on the result of the research based on the project. This research was conducted based on ECD projects of 14 garment factories in Dhaka, Gazipur, Chittagong etc.
The main purpose of the research was to assess the influence of the growth of the children of the garment workers. Participants of the workshop appreciated the initiative taken by the ECD function.
