The 2018 Taean World Tulip Festival is scheduled to open on April 19 at Korea Flower Park in Taean County.
Now in its seventh year, South Korea’s premier spring event was named one of the world’s top five tulip festivals at the World Tulip Summit in 2015 and 2017.
The 114,263 square meter Korea Flower Park will host around 200 types of tulips. Family-friendly activities that await visitors throughout the duration of the festival include animal feeding and face painting.
The nighttime view of the park is expected to be particularly noteworthy as a planned “festival of light” should create a stunning view of the entire grounds.
