Microsoft MVP Rezwanur Rahman selected as official National Delegate of Bangladeshi Government in Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting 2018

Rezwanur will attend the 11th Commonwealth Youth Forum (CYF) 2018 and Commonwealth Youth Council General Assembly, which will be held during CHOGM on 16-18 April 2018 at Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Westminster, London.

Rezwanur Rahman, Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) on Windows Insider Program, selected as National Delegate of Government of People Republic of Bangladesh in Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2018 which will be held in the second week of April at Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace, United Kingdom.

Two delegates have been selected from Bangladesh to represent the country at the international stage and play an active role in the Commonwealth Youth Forum (CYF). Rezwanur is currently the student of Computer Science department at American International University Bangladesh.

Rezwanur will attend the 11th Commonwealth Youth Forum (CYF) 2018 and Commonwealth Youth Council General Assembly, which will be held during CHOGM on 16-18 April 2018 at Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Westminster, London.

Rezwanur will play an active role in the Youth Forum giving a voice to their peers at home, voting on behalf of their country on policy issues which directly affect them, and engaging fully in the democratic process to elect a new Youth Council Executive.

His role will be vital in ensuring all of the one billion young people of the Commonwealth are effectively represented on an international stage and can have meaningful say in its future. By taking a clear mandate back to his home country, he will also be crucial to delivering a legacy which extends long beyond the events in April.

The honorable Prime Ministers from 52 Commonwealth countries will attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting 2018. Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina will also attend the meeting.

Rezwanur Rahman has also been invited and joined for Commonwealth Youth Summit – 2017 to represent Bangladesh as well as AIUB, which is the first Commonwealth Youth Summit 2017 and concluded on November 3, 2017 at and Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Cyberjaya, Malaysia, where young leaders from 52 Commonwealth countries took a pledge cohesion and building global equity and fulfill the commitment of the “Sustainable Development Goals” adopted by United National Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

During the summit, Rezwanur got the chance to discuss the initiative called “Coding Camp with His Royal Highness Prince Charles of Wales”. Coding Camp is the initiative of “MentorNations”. Rezwanur is the Country Manager of MentorNations in Bangladesh

Recently, Rezwanur Rahman got Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award from Microsoft Corporation, for the first time in Bangladesh on Windows Insider Program.

Mehrab Masayeed Habib studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at American International University Bangladesh (AIUB). Currently, he is working for News Hour. He is passionate about automobiles. He is also the founder & trainer of Bangla Automobile School. He conducts workshops on automobile engineering at local level.
