Le Méridien Dhaka to pay tribute to winter by throwing a traditional ‘Pitha Festival’

A large variety of Pitha’s such as jamai ador, bodhu boron, puli pitha, bhapa pitha, khirsha pati-shapta pitha etc. will be served at this festival to tantalize the taste buds of food lovers.

Le Méridien Dhaka is paying their tribute to this winter by throwing a traditional ‘Pitha Festival’. This festival will commence at Le Méridien Dhaka’s Latest Recipe on the 15th floor and Latitude 23 restaurant next to the lobby hub on January 11, 2018.

A large variety of Pitha’s such as jamai ador, bodhu boron, puli pitha, bhapa pitha, khirsha pati-shapta pitha etc. will be served at this festival to tantalize the taste buds of food lovers.

Along with the multi-cuisine LIVE food stations, there will be live Bengali music comprising of Flute, Harmonium, and Tabla, which will prove to be a soulful union of heritage and tradition.

Price of the buffet dinner for this festival is BDT 3,900++ per person at Latest Recipe and dinner time will start from 6:30 PM to 11:30 PM. At Latitude 23 of Le Méridien Dhaka, there will be a Pitha Combo Plate (3 Pitha + 1 Masala Tea of Softy beverage) at price BDT 950++ per combo. This promotion will be open from 6:30 PM till 11:30 PM.  The ‘Pitha Festival’ is expected to run every day from January 11, 2018, to January 20, 2018.
