SINGER has launched “Laptop for All’’ program in association with world-renowned IT brands Dell & HP to provide Laptops for students of Bangladesh. Under the scheme, students of any educational institution at any part of the country can avail a Dell or HP laptop from SINGER outlets at an affordable price with ease of payment options.
The initiative was formally launched at a gathering of students, teachers, and guardians at a ceremony at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Dhaka.
Singer Bangladesh Limited Managing Director and CEO Mr. M H M Fairoz, Marketing Director Mr. Vajira Tennakoon, HP Bangladesh – Country Manager Mr. Imrul Hossain Bhuiyan and Dell Bangladesh – Business Development Manager Mr. Sarower Chowdhury jointly inaugurated the launch of this new program.

In his speech, the Singer CEO revealed that students will be able to purchase laptops of these global brands with affordable monthly payment without interest up to 8 months. Referring to Government’s plan to build a Digital Bangladesh by 2021, Mr. M H M Fairoz said “The Business Sector certainly has to do its bit as well and that’s the reason we are very pleased to embark on activities which can complement and contribute towards meeting the goals of this program.’’
Earlier, HP & Dell officials spoke on the potential of the SINGER initiative in terms of accelerating the transformation of Bangladesh into a truly digital nation. Dell & HP laptops are now available at 377 SINGER outlets across the country with Singer trusted warranty.
