Famous Indian Sitar player Niladri Kumar is coming to Dhaka to spread the magic of Sitar. He is known for his Sirat fusions on popular movies like Banty aur Babli, Gangstar, Life in a Metro, Dhoom 2, My Name is Khan.
Niladri like to play Sitar with guitar fusion ‘Gitar’. The Experienced and young musicians got surprised by listening to it. This young Sitar player is coming here in Dhaka. He will play an entire evening for Sitar lovers.
Niladri Kumar’s father Kartik Kumar was a disciple of Pandit Ravi Shankar. At the age of four, his father started to teach him about learning it. He did his first presentation at the age of six. Since then, Niladri has kept everyone fascinated. He has already worked with artists like Ustad Zakir Hossain, Jonas Hellberg, AR Rahman.
On July 21, Niladri’s solo exhibition is going to held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center.
