The 3rd General Members Meeting (GMM) for the year 2017 and 2nd Training of JCI (Junior Chamber International) Dhaka Central took place in a restaurant in Dhaka yesterday.
The training was based on ‘Omoiyari’ or in other words, altruistic sensitivity is a universal concept in human interaction. The training was very interactive and lively. It was conducted by 2017 National Committee Chair of JCI Bangladesh Mr. Erfan Haque. Mr. Erfan Haque is also the Immediate Past Local President of JCI Dhaka Central.

After the training, the 2017 Local President of JCI Dhaka Central, Mr. Abu Taleb Siddique commenced the GMM with a brief speech expressing his sincere gratitude to all the member and guests for their valuable presence. He also thanked the members for their sincere efforts in carrying out the project and event activities during his absence due to an accident.
He then shared the activity report and project updates of JCI Dhaka Central. Concerned members briefed about their projects as well as all the events that have been carried out so far. Mr. Abu Taleb Siddique applauded 2017 Director, Ms. Huraira Shishir for her outstanding efforts and setting up an example of extraordinary diligence by carrying out her project ‘Alor Michil’ magnificently.

Apart from JCI Dhaka Central members, eminent members of JCI Bangladesh including 2017 National President Senator Mr. Ahmed A. Rahman, 2017 National Secretary General Senator Mr. Irfan Islam, 2017 National General Legal Counsel Senator Mr. Fayaz Atiqul Islam and 2017 Chairperson of International Affairs Ms. Chowdhury Rumana B. Nasir graced the meeting with the humble presence.
