JCI Dhaka Central launched Alor Michil project in Bangladesh

JCI Dhaka Central, in collaboration with OBHIZATRIK Foundation, launched “Alor Michil” project in Bangladesh. The project was launched in the 21 February 2017 and actively sponsored by JCI Dhaka Central.

Under this project, underprivileged children will be taught drawing and art by a renowned art teacher. This is a year-round project. The art class will be conducted on every Saturday in Mirpur, Dhaka.

After the project, an art competition will be held amongst the children and the best drawings will be exhibited in an exhibition. Along with arts they will also be taught computer skills and IT.

JCI Dhaka Central 2017 Local President Mr. Abu Taleb Siddique Sanju vows to extend their support for the development of the children and they will do everything necessary for that.

OBHIZATRIK Foundation is a government registered organization working towards overcoming socio-economic challenges that Bangladesh has been facing since its independence as a nation. With the aim to free Bangladesh and the members of its society from various barriers, OBHIZATRIK Foundation since its establishment in 2010, has been actively working in the following sectors: Poverty elimination, Education, Health and Nutrition, Human Rights and Environment.

Furthermore to OBHIZATRIK’s goal of helping the underprivileged, the Foundation build a platform for the youth of Bangladesh to put to action, their ideas and vision of a better Bangladesh; more beautiful, more socially stable.

JCI Bangladesh (JCIB) has been affiliated with Junior Chamber International (JCI) since 2000. Junior Chamber International (JCI) is a worldwide leadership organization for young professionals and entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 40. The organization is found in 110 countries and has a membership of 200,000 across the world. JCI Dhaka Central is the newest chapter in Dhaka for JCI Bangladesh. The chapter was formed on 26th September 2008.
