Australia will play Brazil in Melbourne in June as a warm-up for the Confederations Cup, organisers said Thursday, reports BSS.
The match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on June 13 will be Brazil’s first in Australia since a 2-2 draw in Melbourne and a 2-0 win in Sydney in 1999.
The game comes four days after Brazil take on great South American rivals Argentina in Melbourne.
The Socceroos are grouped with Germany, Chile and Cameroon in the Confederations Cup in Russia from June 17 to July 2.
