Bangladesh ensure pre quarter-final in Rollball World Cup

Bangladesh men’s team confirmed their pre quarter-final berth of the 4th Rollball World Cup crushing Myanmar by 11-0 goals in their third group D match held on Sunday at Mirpur Indoor Stadium.

In the day’s match, Hriday scored three goals and Arafat, Sagar and Watlar scored a brace each while Dipro and Intesar netted one goal apiece for Bangladesh.

In the day’s other matches held at the same venue, Bangladesh women team secured their second round berth as they got walkover against Philippines women team.

Gambia men’s team got walkover against Vietnam, Nepal women team got after Philippines failed to present in the venue and defending champions India men’s team confirmed their second round beating Ivory coast by 9-4 goals.

At Sheikh Russel Roller Skating Complex venue, Belarus confirmed their quarter-final berth beating Uruguay by 5-1 goals, Benin eve team got walk over against Uruguay eve team, Denmark eve team defeated Argentina eve team by 2-1 goals, and Uganda eve team blew away Chinese Taipei by 10-0 goals.

At Handball Stadium, Saudi Arabia men’s team beat Turkey men’s team by 2-0 goals, Uganda men’s team got walkover against Latvia men’s team, Kenya men’s team defeated Denmark men’s team by 5-3 goals while Argentina men’s team moved to the second round with an all win run beating Uganda men’s team by 4-1 goals in their group third match.
